congress

KOZHIKODE: MK Raghavan MP, who had opened the war front in connection with Shashi Tharoor MP's trip across the state, has once again lashed out at the state Congress leadership. He said that there is a culture of use and throw in Congress and the party has changed to a state where one cannot express criticism or disagreement.

MK Raghavan criticised the leadership while inaugurating the commemoration of former minister Adv P Sankaran in Kozhikode. VM Sudheeran and DCC president K Praveenkumar were present.

"The situation in Congress is that if you want a position, you have to keep quiet. The party should be willing to learn from failure. No one is ready to say out loud that the king is naked. There have been many such issues in recent times. I believed that an election would be held in Congress. Leadership is not committed to anyone. The leadership must decide how to bring the party back. The reason for the current failure is not the ranks but the leaders. Elections were held even in the Muslim League. I don't know when intra-party democracy will come in Congress. Those who are eligible are being left out," Raghavan said.

KPCC president seeks report
KPCC president K Sudhakaran has sought a report from the Kozhikode DCC president regarding the criticism raised by MK Raghavan against the KPCC leadership.

Criticism is inappropriate
In his report submitted to the KPCC on Friday, DCC President K Praveen Kumar stated that MK Raghavan MP's criticism of the KPCC leadership was inappropriate. He added that the criticism will destroy the morale of the ranks.
