THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister MB Rajesh assured in the meeting of the union representatives that the concerns of the employees regarding relocation, which is going to be implemented after the integration of the LSG department, will be resolved.
After Kerala Kaumudi reported on Monday that more than 30,000 officials were going to be transferred without any preparation or training, a meeting of top officials was held that day. Then on Thursday, a meeting of the authorized representatives of the department was called at the office of the Minister in the Legislative Assembly. In the meeting attended by 15 organization representatives, the crisis and legal issues related to relocation were discussed. The minister said that they will solve as many problems as possible and move forward. Public service was formed by unifying the departments of Panchayat, Village Development, Urban Affairs, Local Engineering, Urban Village Planning and Municipal Common Service. People in these categories are appointed interchangeably. Organizational representatives pointed out that without training and understanding of the rules, it would be difficult for employees and people to move to new offices. A detailed discussion will be held again.
