THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A house was set on fire in the name of previous enmity. Ajay Kumar set ablaze the house of Suresh Kumar of Ambalathinkala. Ajay Kumar is a relative of Suresh Kumar’s wife. The police have arrested him.

Ajay Kumar came to Suresh's house at 10:30 in the morning masking his face. Suresh Kumar was at the construction site of his daughter's house.

Ajay entered the house and beat Suresh’s wife Padmaja, a retired teacher. He also beat her daughter and child when they tried to prevent him from attacking her mother. When they ran out, he set fire to the house. Police said previous enmity is the reason for the attack. He damaged the windows and doors of the house.
