chatgpt-

Chat GPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot that has become popular in a short period of time. Chat GPT not only responds to the information provided by people but has also succeeded in some of the most difficult competitive exams. It includes the final year exam in the Master of Business Administration program at the University of Pennsylvania and the US Medical Exam. But now it is reported that ChatGPT had to bow down in front of one of the toughest exams in the world, the Indian Civil Services Exam.

Analytics India Magazine provided ChatGPT with Civil Services Exam Questions. When asked 'Do you think you can pass the UPSC preliminary exam?', the chatbot replied that it cannot give a definite answer. ChatGPT was then asked 100 questions from the first set of UPSC 2022 preliminary exam question papers. ChatGPT was able to answer only 54 of those questions. 87.54 was supposed to be the cut-off mark.

The questions were based on areas like Geography, Economics, History, Ecology, General Science, and Current Affairs related to India. ChatGPT was unable to answer questions on current affairs. Incorrect answers were given to questions in subjects like Geography and Economics. ChatGPT is said to provide the answer by aggregating all information up to September 2021. But the chatbot gave wrong answers to all history questions. Some multiple-choice questions were answered with 'none of these' which was not even an option.

Around 12 lakh candidates appear for this exam every year. But only five percent of them qualify for the final stage.
