THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A traditional healer has been arrested for raping a Belgian woman in Neyyar Dam. Shaji, a native of Kootoor, was caught by the Neyyar Dam Police.

Shaji molested a Belgian woman. Three months ago, the foreign woman came to Thiruvananthapuram to study yoga. Shaji met the woman at a home stay in Neyyar Dam. After this, he invited the woman to his Ayurvedic treatment centre. He raped the woman at the centre.

The woman first disclosed about the assault to her friend. A complaint was lodged with the police after the woman sought treatment at the hospital.
