NEW DELHI: A student has been arrested for urinating on a co-passenger in a flight. The incident took place on a flight coming from New York to Delhi on Friday. Arya Vohra (20), a university student in the USA, urinated on the co-passenger. He is a native of Delhi Defense Colony.

The flight departed at 9.16 pm on Friday and reached Delhi after fourteen hours on Saturday. The incident happened during this. It is reported that the student was drunk. The student who was sleeping urninated and this was spread on the seat. When the urine fell on the fellow passenger's body, he informed the cabin crew. But he refused to complain. The passenger also said that the student apologized for the incident.

But the cabin crew informed the pilot and then the pilot reported to the air traffic controller. Then the CISF officials arrived and took the student into custody and handed him over to the Delhi Police. But no arrest was recorded.

According to the Civil Aviation Act, if a passenger is found guilty of misbehaviour, apart from the action under criminal law, he will be banned from the flight for a certain period of time depending on the level of the offence.
