THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran's ultimatum that district-level lists for Congress reorganization should be handed over by March 5 did not yield a result. Apart from Alappuzha, no other district has submitted the lists till yesterday. Following this, the president has called for an emergency meeting of office-bearers and DCC presidents at the KPCC headquarters on Wednesday.
In the KPCC executive committee meeting last week in Kottayam, the president stated that if no district provides the list by March 5th, the KPCC will directly issue the list with the names it possesses by March 10th.
Despite the fact that Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram DCCs have almost finished preparing the lists, reports indicate that significant disagreements still exist. Although the district official leadership has finalized the draft list in Pathanamthitta, there is a delay in handing over the list due to the problem of complete non-cooperation of a section of leaders.
