THENI: Two Keralites were killed in an accident at Theni in Tamil Nadu. The two killed are Akshay Ajesh and Gokul, natives of Thiruvathukkal in Kottayam. Their friend Ananthu seriously injured has been admitted to the hospital. The accident happened after the car in which they were travelling collided with the lorry. The car lost control after the tyre burst and hit the lorry. The accident happened Tuesday morning at 5 am. The Allinagaram police registered a case and started an investigation.
The accident happened when the three of Kottayam were proceeding to Theni. The tyre at the back of the car burst. With this, the over speeded car lost control and collided with the lorry which was on its way to Kambam from Coimbatore. In the impact, the car has been completely damaged.
Akshay and Gokul died on the spot itself. Seriously injured Ananthu has been admitted at Theni Government Medical College. He is still in a critical condition.
