MALAPPURAM: The year-long Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Muslim League will begin today in Chennai. At 11 am, All India KMCC Tamil Nadu Unit will conduct the marriage of 75 needy young women at Ramazan Mahal, Chennai. Panakkad Sadiqali Shihab Thangal and Mufti Muhammad Salahuddin Ayyubi will preside over the ceremony.

Tomorrow morning at 10 AM in Chennai Kalaivanar Arangam auditorium All India President Prof KM Kader Mohideen will inaugurate the conference. Political affairs committee chairman Sadikhali Shihab Thangal, national general secretary PK Kunhalikutty, Tamil Nadu general secretary KAM Abubacker and others will participate. The themes of empowerment of secular community and political parties, seven and a half decades of responsible politics and proud existence and role in nation building will be presented.

On the 10th, at 9.30 am, a review meeting of the formation of the Muslim League will be held at Rajaji Hall, where the formation meeting of the Muslim League was held. Delegates will take oath in nine languages. Former Madras High Court Judge JM Akbarali, Abdussamad Samadani MP Siraj Ibrahim Seth, Khurram Anees Omar, N Javeedullah, Adv Bashir Ahmed, Jafarullah Molla and Aslam Molla will speak.

In the evening, a rally, closing ceremony and a greenguard parade by Tamil Nadu volunteers will be held at Khowide Millat Nagar, set up at the YMCA Stadium, Old Mahabalipuram Road. Political affairs committee chairman Sadikhali Shihab Thangal will inaugurate the concluding session. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will be the chief guest. National President KM Khader Moiteen will preside. PK Kunjalikutty, ET Muhammad Basheer MP, PV Abdul Wahab MP, MK Muneer, KPA Majeed, PMA Salam, KAM. Abu Bakar and others will participate.

Special train to Chennai

A special trail has been established from Mangalore to Chennai via Kerala. There will be 1,416 workers in 17 sleeper coaches and three AC coaches. The train leaving Mangalore at 2 pm tomorrow has stops at Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, and Palakkad. And then it's non-stop. It will reach Chennai Egmore station at 8.30 am on the 10th. 30 Tamilnadu government buses have been booked from the railway station to the venue of the public meeting. After the closing ceremony, the train will return to Mangalore from Egmore at 11 pm. The cost including the security amount is around 58 lakh rupees. The railway security amount has been increased considering the possibility of more activists boarding the train. The expenses will be borne by the league national committee and traveling workers.
