NEW DELHI: Five Iranian nationals were arrested with 61 kg of heroin worth Rs 425 crore during an inspection conducted by the Coast Guard on Gujarat's Okha coast.

A suspicious boat was sighted 340 km off the Okha coast on Monday during a patrol conducted by the Coast Guard following a tip-off. Once the boat started moving at high speed after disregarding the warning, the Coast Guard chased and eventually caught it. The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad and the Coast Guard have seized 407 kg of drugs worth Rs 2,355 crore in 18 months.
