THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Centre, there is a possibility of high waves of 0.2 to 0.9 meters along the Kerala coast till 11.30 pm on Friday. In this situation, the State Disaster Management Authority has warned fishermen and coastal residents to be cautious. It has been suggested to ensure the safety of fishing vessels and equipment and to avoid trips to the beach and recreation at sea. At the same time, the Central Meteorological Department has informed that there is no disruption to fishing in the Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep coasts.
