ALAPPUZHA: A 60-year-old man has been arrested for sexually abusing a minor boy. The arrested person is Cherthala native Pushkaran. According to the Arthunkal police, the accused had been sexually assaulting the boy for months.

Pushkaran used to regularly contact the boy over the phone. The accused used to sexually abuse the boy after calling him to various places. The incident came to light when the parents of the boy questioned him after noticing his abnormal behaviour. Following this, they informed the police. The accused was arrested during the investigation conducted on the complaint of the parents.
