SEOUL: North Korea has again raised concerns by conducting a nuclear weapon test. As part of military training, the test was conducted using a mock nuclear weapon on a ballistic missile. According to the North Korean media, the missile equipped with a dummy weapon was able to accurately penetrate the target at a height of 800 meters at a distance of 800 km. North Korea already claims to have 30 to 40 powerful nuclear weapons.
The test was followed by Kim Jong-Un's remark that the country must be ready to launch a nuclear counterattack at any time to prevent war. Kim may not hesitate to use nuclear weapons at the slightest provocation.
A 10-day-long joint military exercise conducted by the United States and South Korea triggered Kim. Fearing that the country could be attacked by the United States at any moment, Kim called for a two-day military exercise to improve the combat capabilities of his own army. It was during this exercise that nuclear weapons were tested.
Kim Jong-Un came with his daughter Kim Ju-ae to watch the test. These pictures were also released by the North Korean media. The pictures of nine-year-old Kim Ju-ae watching missile launch went viral on social media earlier. It has been rumoured that Kim Ju-ae will be the next ruler of the country.
