THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The evaluation camps for the public examination of 10th, higher secondary and vocational higher secondary classes will begin today. More than 18,000 teachers will participate in the SSLC evaluation process which will be held in 70 camps.

The camp will end on April 26. In parallel with the evaluation camps, the tabulation activities will start from April 5 in the examination hall.

The higher secondary evaluation camps will continue till the first week of May. 25,000 teachers will serve in 80 evaluation camps. After the completion of the Plus Two evaluation, the Plus One evaluation will begin. Vocational Higher Secondary will have 3,500 teachers in eight assessment centres. 10th, Plus Two and VHSE results will be declared by May 20.

Meanwhile, higher secondary teachers' organizations have decided to protest by wearing black clothes to protest against the unilateral implementation of the Khader Committee report. Director of Public Education K Jeevanbabu stated that strict disciplinary action will be taken if the teachers don't appear at the camps.
