UDAIPUR: A 20-year-old man has been arrested for murdering a nine-year-old girl, chopping the body into pieces and dumping it. The horrific incident took place in Rajasthan. The arrested person has been identified as Udaipur native Kamalesh. The deceased girl was the neighbour of the accused. According to the police, the girl went missing on March 29. The body was found while the police were conducting an investigation after registering a case on the complaint lodged by the girl's family.

The girl's body parts were found inside an abandoned house last Saturday after some locals complained of a foul smell coming out of the house. The police later identified the accused after checking the CCTV footage obtained from the area. The CCTV footage showed Kamalesh walking to the house carrying a plastic cover in his hand.

Upon questioning, Kamalesh admitted the crime. He told the police that after murdering the girl, he chopped her body into pieces using a sharp weapon and kept it in a plastic cover. The police said that the motive behind the murder is not clear and that they are interrogating the accused in detail. Meanwhile, Police Superintendent Vikas Sharma said that the police are investigating whether more people are involved in the crime.
