THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian metrological department confirmed heavy rains in Kerala over the next five days. Except for Kannur and Kasargod, all other districts will witness rain that crosses a speed of 40 km per hour. From April 3 to 7, districts except for Kasargod and Kannur will see heavy showers with lightning. Rains up to 64.4 ml will be received in the coming days.
Today night at 11:30 pm, the sea will form waves up to 1m high ergo warning the fishermen folks to adopt caution. The fishing process can run unhindered since there are no presaged messages shown in the coastal regions of Kerala-Karantaka or Lakshadweep.
Tourists and visitors should, by all means, avoid a late-night visit to the beach, informed the state safety department.
