THRIPPUNITHURA: The Thrippunithura police have arrested a youth for sexually abusing a YouTube channel anchor under a false pretext of marriage. The arrested person is Nithin Paulson (33), a native of Vilangannur. He was arrested on the basis of the complaint lodged by the woman. In her complaint, she alleged that the accused, the manager at a private telecom company in Ernakulam, continuously sexually abused her for four days after calling her to a flat at Chathari in Thrippunithura. She also accused him of fleeing with her car after the incident.

The accused had been absconding after learning that the woman had lodged a complaint with the police. The police nabbed him after tracing his mobile phone calls. The accused, who was presented in court, has been remanded.
