LUCKNOW: Lok Sabha Housing Committee has asked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to vacate his official residence before April 22 after he was disqualified as an MP following a Surat Court order in a criminal defamation case. Amidst the setback, the priest of Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya expressed his support to Rahul Gandhi by offering a house on the temple premises.

Mahand Sanjay Das, son of the Chief priest Mahant Gyan Das has extended his support and welcomed Rahul Gandhi to the temple city. “Rahul Gandhi should pay a visit to Hanumangarhi temple. So many ashrams are there on the temple premises. He can stay at one of those ashrams and we will be glad to accommodate him”, Mahant Sanjay Das said. Rahul Gandhi had visited the Hanumangarhi temple in 2016 and accepted the blessings of Mahand Sanjay Das.

Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Ramjanmabhoomi temple had extended support and blessed the Congress leader during Bharat Jodo Yatra. Acharya Satyendra Das, in his letter to Rahul Gandhi, wished him all success on his mission to unite the country.
