KOTTAYAM: The ice cream market is enjoying a very good season as the weather in Kerala gets hotter by the day. The ice cream vendors have now managed to overcome the economic crisis caused by Covid. As the Covid restrictions have been lifted, crowd participation in marriages has returned to the pre-Covid era, which is another major boost for the ice cream market.

Since December, the festival and festival market has been active and the ice cream market has benefitted. After December, shakes and ice creams became more popular as the heat increased. If the heat doesn't drop, the sales will increase even more. Ice cream parlors have proliferated as small businesses. Producers say this is the most lucrative season after three years.

People prefer branded ice-creams

Preferences have also changed after the Covid period as people are into branded ice creams now. More than 50 ice cream juice shops have been newly opened in the district after Covid. In the past, only local ice cream, which was occasionally brought for sale on bicycles during the holidays, was available in the countryside, but the market has changed to the point where you can get ice creams from various companies in bakeries and cool bars.

There is a 40% increase in business compared to the previous years.
