THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Cloud telephony system has been introduced in KSEB to report complaints without interruption in case of power outage. This is an internet based telephone call management system that helps in handling more than a thousand telephone calls at the same time.
For this, customers just need to call the mobile number 9496001912.
Online payment, registration of all complaints like electricity bill and registration for doorstep services except new connection can be done through this system. The system of providing these services through WhatsApp and SMS will also be introduced in the second phase.
At present, for filing complaints and services, one has to call the landline of the section office or the toll-free customer care number 1912. Only one call can be handled at a time.
