THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thailand ganja was seized from passengers of an interstate private bus in Parassala. Varun Babu, a native of Kowdiar and Vinisha, a native of Chullimanoor, were the two arrested. The two were arrested with Thailand ganja during the investigation conducted by the police and anti-narcotics team under the leadership of Parassala SHO.

Varun Babu from Kowdiar and Vinisha from Chullimanoor were the passengers of the luxury bus coming from Bengaluru to Thiruvananthapuram. The Thailand ganja was found in their bags during an inspection conducted in the bus at Parasuvaikkal.

There were about 20 grams of Thailand ganja. The police informed that the ganja fetches a high price in the market. The accused were produced in the Neyyattinkara Court. Varun Babu had been involved in smuggling cases earlier also and there are criminal cases against Vinisha.
