THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian railway is charting plans for a new exciting Kashmir valley package. The railway planned trip will start its sojourn on April 17 and will conclude on May 2.

Apart from Kashmir, the trip also covers the Wagah border, Jaipur, Taj Mahal, Golden Temple. Agra Fort, Qutub Minar, and Rajghat. A special Shikara boat ride will be arranged in Kashmir's famed dal lake. The icy peaks of Gulmarg gets included in the trip. AC travel costs Rs 46700 while non-Ac comes at Rs 38700. The total cost covers one week of hotel stay, food, tour guides, vehicle services, etc. From Kerala, the train can be boarded from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Ottapalm, and Palakkad.

The tour package includes the 14-bogie train undertaken by private railway service firm ULA Rails. The tickets can be booked through railtourism.com. Preferences for South Indian food and insurance packages can also be availed.
