THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state is slowly turning into a den for banned drugs. Apart from normal drug usage, there have been spiraling purchases of Thailand drugs in Kerala. Last day, a luxurious bus running service from Banglore was checked when city natives Varun Babu and Vinisha were nabbed with rare Thailand drugs.
A total of 15 gm was seized from the Kowdiar native Varun. They call it Thailand ganja. The purchase was made from Tamil Nadu and it sells mostly in regions around Majestic, in Bangalore. The dose effect and the psychedelic trance will last for more hours than any normal drugs available, says the nabbed ones.
Andhra ganja was the most sought-after thing in Kerala. However, the new entrant has more tetra hydrochloride making the effect last for more hours than any normal one. The normal ganjas are being sold in the underground market at Rs 2500 per kilogram. Shockingly, the Thailand ganja goes at Rs 2500 per gram.
The arrested two have revealed that it is for personal use that they bought the drugs from Tamil Nadu. However, the statements look murkier since a weighing machine was also found in their bag which is mostly used by dealers to sell it to their loyal customer base. Vinisha is a murder accused from Karamana in the city. Her husband was recently arrested under KAPA law by the police.
