MUMBAI: The police have registered a POCSO case against a 17-year-old girl who sexually abused and impregnated a minor girl. The incident took place in Thane district in Maharashtra. Both the boy and girl are classmates.

The police said that they have booked the boy under various sections of the IPC and POCSO Act. The police took the action on the complaint of the girl.

"Both of them are classmates. The sexual abuse took place in January and February when the boy used to go to the girl's house when she was alone at home. Following this, the girl became pregnant. We are yet to take the boy into custody," the police said.
