THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State BJP leadership to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharing the stage with AK Antony's son Anil Antony at the 'YUVAM ' program in Kochi on April 25. This is Anil's first program in Kerala after joining BJP.
YUVAM is a mega program targeting only the youth, organized by Vibrant Youth for Modifying Kerala. Actor Unni Mukundan, Kannada star Yash, cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, and others will also be participating. The target is to bring together one lakh people including young IT professionals, entrepreneurs, and prominent youth from various fields. Anil Antony's presence was confirmed only yesterday.
Programs focusing on campuses and IT sectors on five development themes have been launched in all districts ahead of the YUVAM conclave. The commencement of these programs was in Pathanamthitta and extensive programs will also be held in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode districts. YUVAM is the first of a series of mega multi-category events planned by BJP in three cities in the state ahead of next year's Lok Sabha elections. Union Minister Smriti Irani will participate in the women's rally in Thrissur and Union Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in the ex-servicemen's program in Kozhikode.
Venue and programs will be decided on the 12th
Prime Minister's office gave the date yesterday only. Leaders including state president K Surendran are in Delhi now. After their return, the youth management will be finalized in a meeting to be held in Kochi on the 12th. Places like Marine Drive, Kaloor Stadium, and Thevara College Ground in Kochi are under consideration for venues. A debate between the Prime Minister and young professionals, a rally attended by college students and youth, Prime Minister's road show, and a showcase of central government achievements will also be held. The aim is to convince the new generation about the development policies of the BJP and the necessity of advancement of the BJP for the development of the country and make them think beyond politics.
