KOCHI: The police have arrested a man for strangling a 75-year-old relative to death during rape attempt. The incident took place on Friday morning.

The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries by her relatives including the accused. The doctor saw the injuries on the woman's body and informed the police. Then the police came and started investigation. Meanwhile, the woman died while undergoing treatment yesterday. The man confessed to the crime when he was interrogated by the police.
