The CPM said that the actions taken by the Sangh Parivar to keep the minorities with them, after previously declaring them as an internal threat, are extremely ridiculous. The CPM state secretariat said in a statement that the people of Kerala, who have strong secular views, will reject the dramas of BJP leaders with contempt.
Statement issued by CPI-M State Secretariat:

The actions taken by the Sangh Parivar, who have declared the minorities as an internal threat, to keep them with them is extremely ridiculous.
Minorities including Christians and communists are declared as internal threats in RSS's spiritual text, Vicharadhara. That is why the series of violence against the minority groups and the communists took place in the country. It is Hindutva preachers who burned people like Graham Staines. During the last Christmas celebration, there was a huge attack on people including nuns all over the country. The series of attacks in Chhattisgarh have not come to an end. It is at this stage that BJP leaders close to the Prime Minister have come forward with the program of visiting Christian religious institutions and priests. Enlightened people of Kerala who know the BJP's stand will realize this.
It has only been a few days since the Christian minority groups protested after realizing that the Sangh Parivar's political positions are dangerous. In several states, the threat and intimidation used by the Sangh Parivar to bring opposition leaders into their fold has also started targeting Christian minorities. This is underlined by the journeys of BJP leaders' visits to different bishop palaces. The people of Kerala, who have a strong secular outlook, would dismiss these plays with contempt.
