THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran sought action against a cop for his post abusing him on social media. Sudhakaran lodged a complaint with the DGP against Kannur rural crime branch assistant inspector Shasidharan K P Kakkara.

The post shared by the policeman on social media is politically inclined and intended to tarnish his image in the public. The service rules of the state government say the officers in service should keep a distance from politics. The action against the code of conduct was on the part of the police officer. The complaint demanded strict action against the officer.
