THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One needs to pay a service charge of Rs 20 to file complaints through Akshaya Centres at the Taluk-level Adalats conducted by the ministers on the occasion of the second anniversary of the second Pinarayi government. Apart from this, one has to pay Rs.3 per page for scanning and printing of documents. The Adalat will be held this month and next month to resolve the pending grievances.

The decision was based on the letter given by the Akshaya director to the government, taking into account the financial cost involved in sending the applications through Akshaya Centres. The Department of Electronics and Information Technology has also issued an order regarding the chargeable rate.

Taluk-level adalats were organized under the leadership of ministers in the last year of the first Pinarayi government. IT Department Principal Secretary Rathan U Khelkar said that the current fee is the same as the fees back then to submit applications through Akshaya Centres.
