NEW DELHI: Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook is coming to India next week to open Apple's first retail stores in the country. Apple officials announced that the store will open in Mumbai on April 18 and in Delhi on April 20. Customers in India will be able to buy the latest Apple products through the new stores. Apple announced the opening of its first retail store in India through their official blog.
Apple BKC, the Apple store in Mumbai, will open on April 18 at 11 am. The second Apple store at Saket, Delhi will be opened on April 20 at 10 am.
Images of the store in Delhi have already come out. It is inspired by the iconic gate in the national capital. The Apple BKC store is located in Mukesh Ambani-owned Jio World Drive Mall in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Last week, Apple released the first images of the Mumbai store, which was designed inspired by the legendary Kaali Peeli taxi art.
Apple will run a program called 'Mumbai Racing' to coincide with the opening of its first retail store in India. The program aims to celebrate the local community and culture of Mumbai and to bring Apple's products and services to more people.
