AMRITSAR: Four casualties have been reported in a firing incident inside the Bathinda Military Station. The South Western Commando Headquarters of the Army said that the area has been cordoned off and a search is underway.

Senior Superintendent of Police G S Khurana said that terrorists are not suspected to be behind the firing which took place around 4:30 Wednesday morning and it is suspected that it may have been due to an issue between the soldiers. He told the media that the officers did not allow the police to enter the army base.
