THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP leaders and workers visited the houses of Christians and Bishop's houses on Easter day under the label of 'Snehayatra' and wished the believers. After this, BJP is now planning to visit Muslim homes on Eid. This information was informed by the party's Kerala Prabhari Prakash Javadekar MP. He had suggested that BJP workers should celebrate Vishu with everyone and invite others to their homes and give 'kaineettam'.

Javadekar pointed out that BJP workers are trying to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's stand that Indians are one beyond caste, religion and regional thinking. On Easter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a Christian temple in Delhi and wished the faithful. Activists distributed eight lakh greeting cards of the Prime Minister on Resurrection Day and Holy Week. While the leaders visited the Church authorities on Easter, the party workers visited the churches and the houses of the believers. The home visit and greeting program will be held on the day of Eid in the same way.
