KOLLAM: The police arrested a youth for sexually abusing a pregnant woman. He threatened to circulate her nude pics and duped her of lakhs. The arrested is Subeer (36) of Poothakkulam in Paravur.

He came forward to help her in releasing her husband involved in a case. He laced sleeping pills in her food and sexually abused her. After taking her nude pics, the accused threatened to circulate the pictures if she narrates the incident to anyone.

The accused, who established an intimacy with the woman, offered her a job in the Service Co-operative Bank and extorted Rs 10 lakh now and then for that. He took her to a hotel in Ernakulam on the pretense of a job interview and sexually abused her many times despite knowing that she was pregnant.
