KOCHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has preponed his visit to Kerala by a day. The visit scheduled for April 25 was shifted to April 24. The date was changed due to PM’s election campaigns in Karnataka ahead of the assembly election.

Prime Minister's visit to Kerala was part of BJP's campaign in Kerala for the Lok Sabha elections. He will participate in the rally in Kochi and the ‘Yuvam’ program at SH College, Thevara. Anil Antony, who recently left the Congress and joined the BJP, may also share the stage with Modi. This will be Anil's first public event after joining the BJP.

Meanwhile, CPM has decided to organize a huge youth rally in Thiruvananthapuram. Leaders including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will participate in the rally. The rally will be under the banner of CPM or DYFI on 23rd or 24th of this month. The decision was made to ensure massive youth participation and to get public attention. It has not been decided whether national leaders will attend the rally.
