THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Yet another incident of sexual harassment against a woman has been reported in Thiruvananthapuram city. The Fort Police have arrested a youth named Shihabudheen (27) who sexually assaulted a Kollam native woman in Attakulangara. Shihabudheen, a native of Tamil Nadu, was taken into custody by the police on the third day after the incident. The incident took place in the middle of the road on Monday.

The woman was in the city with her mother to buy clothes. When she was crossing the road, the accused, who came on a bike, misbehaved with her in the middle of the road. The accused fled the spot soon after the incident. Police nabbed the accused after conducting an investigation based on CCTV footage. The police officials took Shihabudheen, a goldsmith, into custody after arriving at his residence in Chalai. The victim has identified the accused.
