THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The teachers of eight aided management schools have been waiting for eight years for the government to allot the posts. The management and teachers of these schools have followed all the norms but the government have not responded favourably. Out of the eight schools that applied, only two schools were allotted posts in the ministerial meeting.

The government's requirement is that there should be 50 students in a batch for three consecutive years. As per the Higher Secondary Special Rules, only 25 students are required in a batch, but still the other requirement remains for schools started from 2014.

The schools that followed these norms have been waiting for years for the approval of Finance department. The teachers recruited in these batches are struggling without job stability and regular salary.
