THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thampanoor police have handed over a native of Uttar Pradesh, who left home three months ago due to family issues, to his family. Krishnakumar Gupta (55), a native of Badshapur, was sent back home with his children the other day.

On reaching Banaras, Krishna Kumar couriered his mobile phone home. Then he worked in various places. He had reached Thiruvananthapuram a few days ago with the money received from a Tabuk Company in Tirupur. Krishna Kumar, who was staying in a private lodge in Thampanoor, came to the attention of the police while inspecting the lodge the other day.

The police got suspicious of his behaviour and called on the mobile number given by him. Then the family informed the police that he left home three months ago. His son Shashank Gupta also said that a missing complaint has been filed in Badhsapur police station. Shashank who was working in an IT company in Bengaluru, left his job and started searching for his father when he went missing. Shashank Gupta and his brother-in-law reached Thampanoor police station yesterday. The officers led by Thampanoor SHO happily sent back Krishna Kumar Gupta with his family.
