KOZHIKODE: Shafi who was kidnapped by quotation gangs from Vatakara was found and brought to the Rural SP office in Kozhikode.DIG Putta Vimaladitya has also reached the office for questioning. It will be only late after the questioning that Shafi will be taken to Thamarassery.

Meanwhile, reports emerged about Shafi finding his way home back from Banglore. The police are still ambiguous over the statements. Other reports say the gang dropped Shafi at Mysore from where he boarded a bus to reach back home.

It was on April 7th that both Shafi and his wife were forcibly taken inside a car by a gang. They dropped his wife midway but went away with Shafi in the car. Occasionally, video of Shafi asking for help from the police also muddled the investigation. Shafi in the video said the gangs wanted a portion of the 325kilo gold robbed from the Saudi royal family. The police are in a fix and will question Shafi to unknot the troubles in the case.
