MUVATTUPUZHA: A parcel minivan rammed into three pedestrians killing all. Mary(66), neighbor Prajesh(34) and his daughter Aleena(1) were the three dead in the crash. The incident happened at 7:45 in the morning near Thodupuzha- Vazhakulam road.

Prajesh and his daughter were rushed to Smitha memorial hospital and Mary to the general hospital. Unfortunately, the crash was such ghastly that the three died moments short of reaching the hospital. Prajesh was taking his daughter to visit his father's tea shop. Mary was a housemaid and was leaving for work. Out of the dark, the blue dart parcel van lost control and rammed into the pedestrians. Prajesh and his daughter were found at the nearby drain, while the van took Mary further long to crash into a tree.

A coconut seller from the nearby area rushed to the spot to help the three. Meanwhile according to police reports, Eldho, the parcel van driver fell asleep while on wheels. He was later arrested.
