THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman was arrested for selling ganja at her home. The arrested has been identified as Valsala of Kizhakkekkara Puthan Veedu in Aruvikkara's Myladumpara. 2.1 kg of ganja was seized from their house.

Excise Inspector VN Mahesh and his team got information about Valsala during the inspection near Aruvikkara. After that, an inspection was conducted at her house. According to Excise, Valsala was a person who was in close contact with his brothers, natives of Aruvikkara, who were accused in several criminal and ganja cases. The ganja delivered by them was sold at Valsala's house.

Sabu, a native of Aruvikara, who is related to the accused, was caught by the excise two weeks ago. Valsala was nabbed by a team comprising Preventive Officer Jayakumar, Civil Excise Officers Harsh Kumar, Sreejith and Vinod Kumar, female Civil Excise Officer Veeva and driver Anil Kumar.
