KOCHI: Sinoj (36), a native of Palluthurthi, Ernakulam has been arrested for sexual assaulting a woman by blackmailing with her private videos. Kochi city police informed that Sinoj is an accused in six other cases.

A priest was arrested today in Muvattupuzha in a POCSO case. Orthodox church priest Shemavoon Raban (77) was arrested. The incident happened on April 3. He was given temporary charge of Mor Gregorious Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Muvattupuzha. He was arrested by Oonnukkal police based on a rape complaint filed by the parents of a 15-year-old girl.
