KOLLAM: A youth destroyed a lorry parked on roadside in Kadakkal. The lorry belonging to Mankkadu native Anish has been damaged by Appunni alias Anish, a native of Mullakkara. The police have filed a case against him.

The incident happened on Friday afternoon. Anish destroyed the glass of the lorry parked in Mullakkara. There was dispute between Anish and the lorry’s cleaner. The accused went home after this and returned with a machete. He then unleashed violence. The locals tried to pacify him but he refused.

The vehicle returned to Mullakkara on Monday after completing the test. The vehicle owner says there are no issues between Anish and him. He has filed a complaint to Kadakkal police. The police says that the accused went absconding after the incident and efforts are on to catch him.
