TORONTO: A five-square-feet container carrying gold and other valuables has gone missing from Toronto airport in Canada on Thursday. The CCTV visuals were inspected but the footage of the container was not clear. There are no eyewitnesses to the incident.
The container disappeared from Toronto's Pearson International Airport. Goods worth US$ 14.8 million (INR 121.4 crore) were lost. The container that arrived at the airport was unloaded and moved to the cargo storage facility. The police say that the robbery took place here. It is reported to be one of the biggest heists in Canada’s history.
