NEW DELHI: Kerala is gearing up to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will reach Kochi on April 24 and will attend official programs in Thiruvananthapuram the next day. But ahead of reaching Kerala, PM Modi will travel from Delhi to Madhya Pradesh and then to South India. Besides, the visit of the Prime Minister has also been scheduled to the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. So, PM Modi will cover 5300 km in 36 hours.

In the first phase, the journey is from Delhi to Khajuraho. Then he will reach Kochi to participate in the ‘Yuvam’ conclave. On Tuesday morning he will leave Kochi and reach Thiruvananthapuram. Prime Minister will flag-off the Vande Bharat Express which Kerala has been waiting for. Modi will also lay foundation stones for various projects.

After completing the programs in Kerala, the Prime Minister will travel to Surat. He will visit Namo Medical College in Silvassa and inaugurate various projects. After completing the events at Daman and Diu, the Prime Minister will return to Delhi.
