NEW DELHI: Man arrested for insulting the national flag. The action came after the national flag was used to clean chicken in a butcher shop. The incident took place at a location called Silvassa in Dadra Nagar Haveli. Footage of the arrested youth using the national flag to clean a chicken was circulated on social media, after which he was arrested. Police have not released more information about the suspect.

Meanwhile, an actress who forced female models into prostitution was arrested in Mumbai. Mumbai Police arrested Bhojpuri actress Suman Kumari (24) yesterday. Suman Kumari is a member of a high-profile sex racket gang. The Mumbai Police stated that the accused was caught after a secret operation by the Special Branch.

The actress was arrested after the police received a tip-off that a high-profile prostitution ring was operating at the Royal Palm Hotel in the Aarey Colony area. The police sent a young woman to the hotel under the false name of Suman Kumari to nab the actress. The actress demanded Rs 50,000 to Rs 80,000 to release the models and she was arrested by the police while the deal was going on.
