NEW DELHI: Sudan is fast plunging into anarchy with internal conflicts in the country taking worse shape. The diplomats and nationals from UK, US, France, and China are being deported fast as fighting continues between factions in the war-torn country.

Army chief Fattah al-Burhan agreed to facilitate and secure their evacuation "in the coming hours", it said. Britain started operation cobra to evacuate Brits from Sudan while Saudi Arabia is also readying moves to help its nationals return back safe. Meanwhile, news about Indian nationals is still vague as New Delhi remains steadfast in establishing contact with the ministry in Khartoum.

Many Indians are mired in the conflict in Sudan. Works are being initiated and soon the nationals will be shifted to a safe space, confirmed by the Indian external ministry. Khartoum's international airport has been closed due to the violence, with foreign embassies - including the UK and US - unable to bring their citizens home.
