KOCHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched Kochi for his touted roadshow to break the bulwark of Kerala for BJP. The PM arrived at the airbase in Kochi at 5:10 pm. Imbibing pure Kerala tradition, PM was seen adorning kurta and Kerala’s traditional mundu. Surprising the thousands gathered in Kochi, PM decided to walk all his way from Thevara to sacred hearts college which rounds up to around 1.8 km. At 6 pm, the prime minister will take part in the YUVAM program which focuses on intellectual interaction with Youths in Kerala.

Kochi is under the security blanket of SPG and IB. Earlier, the intelligence feared a Japan model attack against PM Modi in Kochi which invariably forced the SPG chief to fly all his way down to Kerala from Delhi. Breaking all odds, PM Modi decided to boast his valor by trudging his way through the roadshow amidst loud clamor from the thousands stationed to see a glimpse of their leader.

Famed Malayalam actress Aparna Balamurli, BJP leader Suresh Gopi, and singer Vijay Yesudas are in attendance for Modi’s biggest-ever roadshow in Kerala. after the BJP sweep in northeast elections, PM Modi stressed his attention to Kerala and vouched to turn the land into a saffron forte in coming years.
