PALODE: A man who sold foreign liquor on pretext of running a decoction shop has been arrested. Anil Sadanandan was arrested for the illegal sale of liquor during an inspection at Ramani Ayurveda Vaidyashala located near Palode Junction. The liquor that was kept for sale in quarter-litre bottles was seized. Also, 91 bottles (40,950 liters) of decoction kept in the shop without any license or documents were seized.

The accused was arrested for selling liquor bought from beverage shops in small bottles on the pretext of decoction sale. The accused was produced in court and remanded. Vamanapuram Excise Range Inspector G Mohankumar, civil excise officers Anish, Adarsh, Shijin, and female civil excise officer Himalatha are investigating the case.
