GWALIOR: A newly-launched Vande Bharat Express rammed into a cow on Thursday. It was the Vande Bharat train travelling from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Rani Kamalapati that hit the cow near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. The front portion of the train was damaged in the accident.
The incident took place at around 6.15 pm on Thursday. Following the accident, Vande Bharat Express (No. 20172) was stopped there for about 15 minutes. Officials informed that the train resumed its journey after repair work.
The Hazrat Nizamuddin- Rani Kamalapati Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 1.
