IDUKKI: Rogue tusker Arikomban, which has been terrorizing the people of Chinnakkal and other nearby areas, has been spotted near the Sinkukandam cement bridge. A team of forest department officials is moving to the area.

The elephant is moving towards the populated region which includes Suryanelli. The task force will be trying to bring the tusker to the cement bridge. The darting team is waiting for a favourable situation to tranquilize the elephant.

On Friday evening, Arikomban was spotted at Sankarapandian Mettu an hour after the task force suspended its search.
